... and the Tiny Tohru Truck is broken.

The car still isn't where it needs to be to be operational - the title was sent in but not back yet, the electrics are a mess in back, and the windshield is still broken on the right side. However, it's going to be pressed into service to fill in for its stablemate.

The roommate and I brought the two vehicles home - he in the truck, I in the car. When he pulled in to park the truck, one of the brake lines popped.

The plan is to drive the car for a week, then fix the truck next Sunday. I can't see any way in which this will go wrong. /sarcasm

Noooooooooooooo!!!! Poor lil Ram 50. :-/ But I'm glad you finally tracked down the electrical gremlins that were plaguing Project $300. Good luck with both vehicles.

The weird whole-vehicle issue was a failure in the ignition switch.

The turn signals, taillights, reverse lights, and brake lights are still all screwed up though.

Someone's already done that. Besides, my Grand Am is a coupe.

O.o Oh damn. I remember you saying you'd figured out the ignition switch was problematic, but I didn't realize there were still more electrical problems. This may be a stupid question since so many individual lights are affected, but have you tried checking their sockets? I was having tail light issues with my cavalier a couple of years back and it turned out both of the sockets had gone bad at the same time. Had to order them from a dealer, too. -_-

I have checked it. With the issue that this has, it is in the wiring for sure.

If you hit the brakes, the brakes and reverse lights come on.

If you hit the left turn signal, it flashes the turn signal and the reverse light and does so quickly (like a bulb is burned out).

If you hit the brakes while the left turn signal is on, the signal stops flashing.

If you turn on the right turn signal, it flashes quickly like a bulb is burned out.
